RESPONSIBILITIES

• Generate sales quotes
• Ensure that your financial targets are met or exceeded
• To meet these targets it is expected that the sales rep actively canvasses for sales prospects
• Ability to turn leads into sales and close deals quickly
• Ensure that a client’s needs are understood, interpreted and communicated accurately and that their expectations are met and managed at all times
• Attend sales meetings and training sessions
• Identify new customers with the result of increasing the current customer base
• Persuade clients to purchase the Norbain brand
• Set up meetings with customers on a daily basis
• Grow, develop and promote the Norbain brand and Norbain as a company
• Build and maintain relationships with customers
• Deal with client queries and provide feedback
• Give product demonstrations at customers’ sites or at the Norbain premises
• Ensure you have all product material required for the demonstration
• Conduct site inspections whenever requested by client, as well as when technical assistance is required 

REQUIREMENTS

• Matric
• Relevant tertiary diploma / degree
• Experience in the electronic security industry is advantageous
• At least 3-4 years’ experience in a technical sales environment
• Must come from a structured sales environment
• Must have a proven track record in sales
• Proficiency in computer software programs (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Clear, concise written and oral communication
• Attention to detail, good organisation skills
• Ability to network
• Time management skills
• Good presentation skills

SALARY:

• Basic plus commission (based on level of experience)
